It all begins with an idea. For us, it was under a water fountain, next to the bathroom at a New York City innovation festival.
Their phones were dead, the entire conference ran through a phone app and no outlets were in sight. They found themselves huddled under a drinking fountain next to the only available outlet while suits and ties walked by looking down on them.
They noticed how quickly phones die, especially on the go, and how scarce charging options often are. Carrying bulky chargers wasn’t practical, and existing solutions were either too plain or harmful to the environment. They needed something better — a sleek, sustainable, and stylish way to stay charged.
